Constitution of the Berkeley History SocietyTo research the local history of the Vale of Berkeley in all its aspects and through all periods of history, from earliest times to the present day. To hold lectures and training courses devoted to this aim and to visit places of historic interest in the Vale and beyond. To encourage members to work individually or corporately on research projects on the Vale's history. To actively cooperate with other societies and bodies having similar interests. To collect, preserve, safeguard and possibly publish:- books, prints, pamphlets, maps, illustrations, ephemera, manuscripts and other printed or otherwise recorded material relating to the Vale. Membership/Subscription Membership year runs from September 1st to August 31st. Committee
